      • This week's local feature album is Take Care from @melve_music.

Emerging contemporary jazz quintet Melve follow-up their debut EP Volume 1 in fine style with their well rounded second full-length, Take Care. The talented five piece featuring some of the local scenes regular players (Sam Hadlow, Sean Little, Austin Salisbury, Kane Shaw and Ryan Daunt) explore their own take on modern jazz, giving us 11 tracks of memorable post-bop styles. Gearing up for an East Coast tour in the new year, Take Care gives Melve the perfect weapon in the catalogue's arsenal to show the rest of the country (and the world!) what's going on with Perth's burgeoning contemporary jazz scene.
      • This week's RTRFM feature is Tangerine from @shanticeleste.

In her six years of releasing music, Bristolian native DJ & producer Shanti Celeste has come a long way and covered a lot of ground since her early releases of feel good, bouncy club sounds, culminating with the release of her debut album, Tangerine. Transitioning from dance-floor oriented singles and EPs to the album format can sometimes prove challenging for producers, but not for Celeste, as across 10 tracks she explores many styles and tempos, with speedy techno and emotional electro sitting alongside ambient explorations and chilled downtempo vignettes. A true album in every sense of the word, Tangerine opens light and ambient and finishes dark, melancholic and ambient, resulting in a pleasing sense of progression, resulting in an addictive listen and a fantastic underground electronic full-length album.
      • Get down to the Courtyard Club this week to catch The Lane Rothie Quartet, Simone & Girlfunkle and DJ Libby Noble live and free under the stars.

You can catch these local WA sounds from 5pm this Friday at the State Theatre Centre Courtyard ????(you won't want to miss this one)
      • Family Tree lands this Saturday at @picabarperth as Related DJ duos go head to head in a wholesome good time to round off 2019.

Come down early for @rokriley and her Mum, who has her tunes packed and vibes ready!
First release nearly gone. Get on it!
